Why Creative Advertising Increases Customers

“Emotions make the world go round; it intertwines us and keeps us grounded.”

The world of advertising has changed, and evoking emotion especially humor can make an instant fan of your brand without the viewer ever having a prior purchase. Yet, the emotion your advertising evokes will increase the chances of the viewer actually trying and buying your products.

This trending tactic has been proven that the more creative your business becomes, the more recognition it will receive and people will actually see the ad, as oppose to overlooking it. YouTube has become a great hub for businesses to express their creative genius as well as having easy access to socialize with customers, giving an even more human touch to the ad. We have seen this happen with Ford, Chevrolet, Old Spice and many others, not to mention that posting to YouTube is free and enables viewers, fans and customers to share your brand.

I came across this interesting advertising for KeyStone Beer, which emulates the Old Spice ads by having an awkward person sharing random thoughts while the brand is in the scene. Notably tying in Internet phrases will up your ante, and using anything popular will increase views. However, you need to find your niche; you need to see who your brand influences and who you are looking to target via statistics prior to creating an ongoing character for your advertising. Planning is crucial, as well as having input from current customers, co-workers and other people within the industry for constructive criticism prior to having it go live on YouTube or any of your other Social Networks.

Here is a KeyStone video that I came across lately that caught my eye and this along with their other videos have kept me wanting to watch even more, although I am well aware that they are ads, why? Emotions, if it makes me FEEL anything, it will have me coming back for more.

As you can see in the short and to the point above video, relationship tips, geek culture and humor was tied into 27 seconds of fun advertising.

Perhaps the next time you create an ad you should think about using YouTube, a creative team or ad agency that can help you connect further with customers, aid in humanizing your brand and increasing new customers.

*Note* the video is intended as an example and not to condone drinking, and Please friends, always remember to drink responsibly.
