That is correct! Twitter has just released a â€œfollowâ€ button that you can add to your website or blog. Letâ€™s not confuse it with the â€œtweetâ€ button they are different; instead you can now have a â€œfollowâ€ button to entice people to connect with your brand on Twitter.

The Automotive Industry is not only reinventing themselves using Social Media but with their vehicles as well. Taking the sales out of the person and replacing it with service, we are witnessing an evolutionary trend unfold, that is our communication history in the making.
Thirty years ago, the idea of simply having access to a phone was the closest pay phone you could find, let alone having the ability to use one in the car, to using one from the car. We have watched as times have changed with technology and the more change that has occurred, the realization of upgrading our abilities and services have been taken in to consideration.
We are at an all time high with technological integration within vehicles, from phones, heated seats, air-conditioning, automatic windows, cameras, mp3 players, on-star, and the list goes on. As Social Media has become a form of our social norm, it is great to watch the unveiling of motor companies acquiring access within our vehicles to them. Enabling us to continue to stay connected even when were on the go, while incorporating safety as an added touch.

What is Empire Avenue?
Empire Avenue is a social stock market game that is unlike any other social networking site yet, there is no â€œfollowingâ€ or â€œlikingâ€ people, instead you buy them for FREE with virtual money known as Eaves.
How Does Empire Avenue Work?
Everyone who signs up to Empire Avenue will begin with a â€œshare priceâ€, connecting to your Twitter, Blogs, Facebook, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts will increase your â€œshare valueâ€, within one week after signing up. Including a social score on each site built from how active you are on them and calculated from one out of a hundred. It is your activities among these various connected sites that will make your value fluctuate.
The more interactions you receive from your social activities online through responses, the higher your â€œshare priceâ€ will rise. Other people on Empire Avenue invest in you by buying your shares, with their virtual currency, known as Eaves, and by purchasing in your â€œsharesâ€; they then own a virtual piece of you. Your goal is to have more people invest in you in order for your â€œshare priceâ€ to increase.
Based on your daily online activity you will earn more eaves and your shareholders will earn some as well, benefiting you both. Use your eaves to buy shares in people, places or brands (yes, celebrities included.) You want to invest wisely and think carefully before you do, since that is how you can grow your social empire and earn the most eaves.
Whether you love Oprah or not, she has been a key innovator in the way we communicate. It was never more prevalent than in her speech during her final episode, which aired Wednesday May 25. Listening for the last time on her thoughts about the human connection and her memories of years past, it got me thinking of how influential she has been not only as a talk show host, but also as an icon people created out of Oprah simply being herself.
Lasting for 25 years within the Television Industry is not an easy task and as she said her final farewell, a common word was used throughout, a word that has truly become a core within the Social Media Industry, that word being validation.
The world was first introduced to YouTube in 2005 and since then, we have not been able to take our eyes off this Social Network, literally. Becoming a world leader in uploading videos allowing us visually share ourselves online with the world as a provider of entertainment, education and so much more for its viewers.
Today, YouTube turned six years old and has only proven its online presence is needed more now than ever, with a 50% increase in video views since last year, making it over 3 billion a day. Not to mention that 48 hours of video content uploaded every minute testifies to its need. YouTube is only going to improve by adding faster processing of uploads, to longer video lengths, and the launch of self-service live stream capabilities to collaborates.
It has become an unfortunate trend for businesses to sign up to Social Networks merely due to the pressure of societyâ€™s urgency to be amongst customers and even more so due to them being free. This is a trap Social Media is NOT free. Yes, their platforms such as Facebook, Twitter etc. are indeed free but to have a proper Social Media performance, one that creates a Return on Investment (ROI), an impeccable concern many Businesses are currently dealing with recovering the answer to, without investing anything at all. Although the money invested in Social Networks yearn a return, investment on engagement and responses, is an equivalency.
